The Lead Production Support Engineer - DevOps Tools will be responsible for leading technical efforts to support tier 2 applications and DevOps tools platforms (Jenkins, uDeploy, Github, Oracle Database, BlackDuck, Artifactory) in production; while also contributing as a senior-level team member to these technical efforts. This individual must have a passion for problem-solving issues across tools and platforms to identify root cause, as well as define and implement effective resolutions. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: •Problem queue management •Facilitating problem resolution with engineering team in a production support environment •Internal project tracking •Communication on critical problems in a production support environment •Establish effective team structure and effective escalation practices/procedures for the team •Implement trainings and (as needed) provide individual support to ensure each team member has the tools and training necessary to successfully perform assigned duties •Spearhead collaboration with the monitoring team to implement monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.) •Utilize monitoring tools (i.e., AppDynamics, Splunk) to proactively identify and mitigate issues related to performance, availability, scalability, etc. •Analyzes performance trends and recommends process improvements; generate reports on performance trends, monitoring, etc. as needed •Assesses changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas Required Qualifications: 5+ years of application development and implementation experience 5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience 10 + years of experience identifying, documenting, escalating and resolving issues 5+ years of Linux administration experience 5+ years of system administration experience across multiple platforms 5+ years of leadership experience in a production environment 5+ years of DevOps experience 5+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment 5+ Years of experience Release management Desired Qualifications Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles 5 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server Knowledge and understanding of uDeploy Experience utilizing PowerShell, Bash, Perl, or Python to automate complex manual tasks Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics Splunk experience Experience with availability and performance monitoring technology vendors Knowledge and understanding of configuration management tools such as Subversion Git or GitHub experience Ability to organize and delegate work to others Knowledge and understanding of technology support: ticketing workflow systems, in a production environment Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: management of problems and resolving issues Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex customer issues Ability to interpret the reports ge   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
