Job Description : eCommerce Quality Assurance Analyst II QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years experience in the quality assurance/testing field Experience with manual testing; experience with automated testing a plus (not required) Demonstrated expert knowledge of life cycle through application of complex, mutli disciplinary software applications, involving complicated technology and integration points Good interpersonal skills and communication skills; communicate to both users and technical peers EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Computer Science related field preferred. 2-3 years experience testing ecommerce applications recommended (not required). SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED Knowledge of eCommerce Systems and technical competencies including, but not limited to: Java SQL, DB2 Websphere Commerce (or similar Application Server) XML Security UNIX Website design and development Source code control systems Knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies of software development Advanced experience with test case planning/creation as well as test case execution and reporting Experience with bug tracking tools, ex. JIRA. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Works under minimal supervision. Leads project level work for qa team Coordinates regularly scheduled defect triage meetings Work with external vendors to test new projects Easily adapts to fast paced, ever changing environment Leads testing activities/assignments for large releases Conducts test set reviews with project team Oversees the reporting of testing status for releases Balance multiple priorities, multi-tasking as necessary. Teamwork - Promotes, maintains and encourages a close working relationship and a team effort with all members of the IT Department and user departments involved in the work assignments.
