Should be familiar with the Agile process. Familiarity with ETL testing is essential. Data quality tools are essentially ETL tools. Needs to be familiar with back end testing. There is no application or interface. They will be testing data only, primarily with SQL. Needs to be VERY proficient with SQL. This will be the primary tool needed for interacting with the data to be tested. Needs to understand relational databases and relational concepts. Primary keys, foreign keys, types of joins, data types, dealing with nulls, etc. Needs to be able to work and solve problems independently. No one will be available to explain every little thing. The engagement should start around June 10, and last for 5 months. Should have a working knowledge of IDQ and how to work with it 40 hours a week, primarily IDQ Developer testing, some data analysis, some BzO testing Two years experience developing with IDQ Analyst Can create profiles and demonstrate their meaning Can create scorecards and demonstrate their meaning Can use the human task interface Database Knowledge Must have strong ANSI SQL knowledge Understand all joins and when to use them Understand how to code to achieve optimal performance Working knowledge of SQL Server and DB2 is preferred General Data Knowledge Should understand basic industry standards and practices for data quality Should understand the concept of metadata, and how it can be used to drive applications Should understand data models, DFDs, and PFDs Familiar with Waterfall and Agile methodologies General Requirements Should be a veteran developer capable of independent work with minor direction Available for a 12 month+ on site contract, contract to hire potential Capable of working on more than one project simultaneously Strong communication skills Collaborative team player Can follow and lead Personable, fun, can do attitude   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
