Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities. Analyzes business partners operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge. May make recommendations for buy versus build decision. - Has in depth JIRA knowledge. - Engaged in requirements gathering, technical design of the application. - Collaboration with vendor , project stake holders, testers, business users. - Effectively documents all the project material in the RUP document formats. - Create & operationalize processes, documentation, standards etc. to enable programs and projects to be managed using JIRA. - Ensure appropriate business-user support across the full range of JIRA tools, plugins and other Atlassian and internally developed products. - Assist in Change Management activities to allow for the smooth introduction of JIRA into the product development process. - Implement Workflows that will fully manage product development projects, support and testing. - Provide training on how to implement Workflows, Screens, Permissions, User Groups, Release Notes, Etc. - Provide direction to project teams on how to integrate JIRA into Atlassian Confluence. *******CANDIDATES MUST HAVE JIRA EXPERIENCE*******   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
