Job Description Manager: LANDesk, Ghost, DiskKeeper, VMWare

Description:

The contractor will be responsible for improving the level of customer service and overall productivity of the Main Office customer service teams and the regional IT support groups by providing effective and efficient standards, tools, techniques and training to effectively deploy and manage desktop computing facilities using LANDesk, and be familiar with other desktop management tools such as Ghost, DiskKeeper, VMWare, Windows scripting, etc.

Mandatory Skill/Expertise:

1. Experience providing advanced (Level 3) technical computer support in an enterprise with at least 1,000 users.
2. Experience creating and maintaining PC images using Ghost software, or equivalent.
3. Experience providing advanced technical support of Windows XP clients in an ethernet environment.
4. Experience providing advanced technical support of Microsoft Office Suite XP or higher (including Outlook).
5. Experience performing extensive research and testing of new technology to meet the needs of a business environment.
6. Experience using enterprise IT management tools (such as Peregrine Service Center, LANDesk, VMWare, etc.)
