Description: Designs, develops, and implements software packages for websites. Trouble shoots, debugs and implements software code. May require a bachelors degree in a related area and at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. To develop Moodle plugins which will provide the missing functionality of the current legacy LMS. * ? Payment plugin - Priority 1 - 4 weeks * Ability for the STADC to charge for classes * Option to allow payee to pay by credit card through Colorado Interactive payment engine and/or check or CORE code at the start of class. * Payment management. * Credits & Discounts - Priority 2 - 3 weeks * Ability for the STADC to offer credits, discounts, and refunds on classes for a particular student * Track student reimbursements when credit payments cannot be reimbursed to the student after cancelling the payment. * Waiver Management - Priority 3 - 3 weeks * Ability for the STADC to view, comment, approve, deny, or request more information for training waivers when an individual or department would like to circumvent the STADCs standard training offerings. ? Course Enhancements - Priority 4 - 5 weeks * Allow for a type of class which would enable a student to enroll in the parent class and select from optional child classes or series (ie. enroll and pay for a conference, then enroll in the individual optional classes of that conference). * Allow classes to be standard online courses or on-site training * On-site classes may be billed per student or in bulk as a single charge for the entire course * Option to email students of on-site classes with the respective locations of their enrolled courses * Allow administrators to track students that no-show * Permissions Enhancements - Priority 5 - 2 weeks * Special permissions for specific vendors to access roster information for classes being held at various locations for on-site training (and only their respective locations) * Permissions for those vendors to also add their classes into the system for registration Required Skills: * SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript * LMS * STADC * Moodle plugins * PHP   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
