This platform uses Autonomy Idol 7.x with Linux OS. It serves a very large user base across business divisions. Qualified candidates will be required to develop the workflows, servlets, frameworks and can contribute to custom scripts with minimal supervision. Candidate must have the flexibility to work in both traditional RAD methodology as well as agile work teams (sprints). Responsibilities: Project Execution and Solutions Delivery: o Be the principal performer to develop code by following technical design and requirements to deliver projects on schedule with superior quality. o Develop innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide market differentiation, efficiency improvements and better user experience. o Provide implementation and testing support to internal resources and brainstorm to deliver solutions. o Review and provide feedback on test cases once approved o Translate high level solution designs into implementation details. o Support and successfully navigate through delivery and enterprise processes. o Stay current with platform technology to help leverage new features. o Follow technical standards and best practices. o Identify process gaps in development practices and help implement solutions Risks and Issues Management: o Identify and mitigate technical risks o Support BSAs, designers and platform on technical issues o Must be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and partners Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree 6 Years experience in IT 3-4 Years experience with any of the following technologies: Redhat Linux v. 4 & 5 admin, Java, XML, Perl script coding, Web Services, Oracle database, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss Application Server, WebLogic Portal Preferred Qualifications: BS in computer science, information systems or another technical degree 5-10 Years experience in IT 2+ years experience and in-depth technical knowledge of development and design with Autonomy v7.x (however, a strong coder with no Autonomy experience will be greatly considered) Ability to generate and organize ideas for presentations and communicate and influence others Self-motivated, self-learner Ability to pick up new technologies Location: Hopkinton, MA, but this role has the ability to work offsite during non sprint times   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
