The Sr. Test Automation Engineer will work closely with the Agile/Scrum team to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for effective and efficient test execution within an Agile/Scrum methodology for Mobile App/Web Services testing. This role will be responsible for developing new automation scripts and/or modifying existing automation scripts developed using these automation frameworks. This experienced software testing professional will be expected to perform a variety of quality assurance tasks to ensure that our software products meet quality standards and end-user requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for a database application - Creating scripts or tests to compare and validate web services - Own product areas to find, report and drive bugs that are found - Participate in the planning, design, estimation and development of software (tools, automation, features) - Setting up data, tools, databases, and applications - Providing QA and automation leadership on Agile project teams - Partnering productively in a cross-functional team environment with minimal supervision - Managing time, priorities, and negotiating tradeoff alternatives Experience Requirement: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience - Minimum of 2+ years of experience developing automated tests with mobile applications - Minimum of 2+ years of experience with at least one development language (e.g., .NET, Xamarin, Java) and at least one scripting language (e.g., Ruby, Python, others) - Minimum of 1+ years of experience in automation of Web Services/Mobile Apps - Minimum of 1-2 years of developer experience and testing various types of services - Strong experience writing Automation scripts The most important skills needed for this role include: Automation excellent knowledge of testing tools for Web Services and automation testing frameworks Significant experience with automation tools such as Ruby/Cucumber, Selenium, Python, others Strong QA/testing background with ability to derive robust automated tests from capturing requirements from technical team and users Testing ownership and initiative to find, report, and drive bug resolution Exposure to an Agile testing environment including Continuous Deployment / Test Driven Development (DEV and QA delivered in same cycle) Experience in testing mobile apps and testing iOT designed-products Strong communication (written and verbal) and team collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Agile project tracking tools - Experience building automated testing solutions using automated mobile app/web service testing tools - Experience with defect tracking systems, version control systems, and test management systems - Advanced experience and competency using automation frameworks - Advanced knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, design approaches, and effective implementation techniques   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
