Complete Description: The DBA typically is involved in analyzing data submitted to the Pennsylvania Information management system to determine if it is accurate and complete. When errors, omissions and other issues are identified, the candidate will be responsible to communicate with Local Education agencies (LEA), both orally and in writing, to help them understand the issue and to correct the data in the data warehouse. In addition, the candidate will be analyzing data in the PAsecureID unique student identification system as well as other data collection systems to determine the completeness and accuracy of data and to assist LEAs with data corrections where appropriate. PAsecureID corrections must be translated to the PIMS data warehouse, as PAsecureID is the identifying data element for all student data in the PIMS data warehouse. Candidate will be working as a team member with a group whose primary responsibility is collecting, editing and publishing student, staff and course data submitted via the PIMS data warehouse.
