Role Responsibilities A project management position within our Corporate Systems organization that is responsible for a variety of projects, producing a standard set of artifacts and deliverables. The Project Manager will work with a matrixed team to establish scope, set the project schedule, identify and document risks and issues, and ensure the successful completion of project objectives. The Project Manager will be accountable to the Project Sponsor as well as other leaders within the Corporate Systems organization, establishing a strong working relationship with each group. • Project definition and scoping o Use existing scope statements or goals where available, assist in translating business needs into technical tasks in a plan. o Conduct a scoping session with key stakeholders and SMEs to define and validate scope. o Be able to interact with technical SMEs and infrastructure teams to understand dependencies and issues. o Obtain signoff for all appropriate groups. o Establish and baseline the project schedule. • Project execution o Ensure correct PMO templates are used based on lifecycle phase or tollgate; organize and categorize project documentation according to defined standards. o Responsible for the day to day execution of project tasks and progress against the approved plan. o Escalation of issues, risks or related items to the Project Sponsor and appropriate stakeholders. • Project control o Tracking of progress against the approved project schedule. o Measurement of schedule and cost performance against an established budget. • Project communication & reporting o Communicate progress and any potential problems to the Project Sponsor and appropriate stakeholders. o Produce and distribute regular project status and dashboards, stored in the standard repository. • General o Assist in other areas when needed Qualifications: (bullet point minimum and desired/preferred qualifications of role) Education: Bachelors degree in a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus but not necessary. . 5-10 YOS would be ideal, has working knowledge in a technical or infrastructure environment previously.
