MS SQL Server Implementing Data Warehouses Business Intelligence Designing BI Relat   Requirement id 107226 Job title Expert Job location in Milwaukee, WI Skills required Data Analytics, Data Flow Diagrams, MS SQL Server, Implementing Data Warehouses Business In Open Date 05-Jun-2020 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 7 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Expert: Data Analytics, Data Flow Diagrams, MS SQL Server, Implementing Data Warehouses Business In Start Date :06/15/2020 End Date :12/31/2020 Submission Deadline :Due to SCS 06/08/2020 by 8:00 a.m. CT Client Info : MILWCNTY-IMSD Note : * Duration: Initial Period: 06/15/2020 - 2/31/2020; Renewals/Extensions through 06/30/2021 Description : IT Manager - Data Analytics: 1) The position is responsible for effectively analyzing, planning, organizing, and leading the Enterprise Data Services team in support of production applications while managing risk, workload, scope, capacity, schedule, and budget. 2) This position also works closely with project sponsors, business and technical partners, subject matter experts, end users, technical resources (internal and third-party vendors), senior management, and executives in the delivery and support of applications that ensure that the needs of business users are fully addressed, and continuous improvement is being achieved. 3) Staff Management & Development: Develops and implements information management strategies specific to the Enterprise Data Services area (Business Analyst, Data Architect, BI Analyst, BI Developer, etc. employees and contractors). 4) Developmental Planning & Operations: Manages all aspects of data analytics including the data warehouses, data sourcing, migration, quality, design, and implementation. 5) Continuous Improvement: Review the Software Development Lifecycle in the current Application & Systems portfolio to reduce current footprint; reduce incidents through root cause analysis and proactive system enhancements. 6) Vendor Management & Contract Management: Manage application maintenance outsourcing & software contract agreements; Implement and monitor standards around scope management, financial management, service level agreements (SLA), ensure compliance to mitigate risk, increase service/business Impact & reduce costs. 7) Risk Identification, mitigation and retirement: Identify potential risks with the Application & Integrations portfolio. Prioritize and create mitigation & risk retirement strategies. Lead risk retirement strategies. Lead risk retirement projects per priorities. 8) Application Support and Maintenance. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 Applications & Integration support identify and actively manage the application portfolio and supporting technology. Ensure external integrations adhere to IMSD and relevant industry standard. 9) Experience with SQLServer data warehouse, IBI OmniGen, IBI WebFOCUS, PowerBI, or another presentation layer tool is required. 10) Requires a bachelors degree with at least 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, data management, data warehouse design, development experience, and end user tool support. Comments: 1. Selected contractor will be required to submit to thorough background investigation(s) prior to/ immediately after hiring 2. Background investigation fees or other related costs will have to be borne by the vendor and will not be reimbursed by Milwaukee County 3. Contractor will need to pay for parking.
