Description : The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is seeking a Enterprise Architect IIIwho will serve as a member of the Application Development Team under the Division of Libraries and Technology. The Applications Development Team is responsible for enterprise architecture, development, system testing, analysis, and maintenance of systems that capture, interrelate and report data. This includes but is not limited to applications that focus on finance, budget, and data collection and reporting applications. These systems require extensive knowledge and experience developing complex applications, reports and relational databases. This person will be a member of a team practicing the Agile/Scrum development methodology. Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of an enterprises architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. Must have significant business knowledge and have one or more areas of technical expertise in which they concentrate. Interfaces across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects. Responsible for conception of solutions, building consensus and the selling and execution of such solutions. Evaluate the internal technical needs of an organization and recommend solutions. Define the system architecture. Assess available technologies to create design and development specifications. Career-level position within field. Requires experience and proficiency in discipline. Conducts complex work important to the organization. Works with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. Required Skills: ? Require ten or more years experiencein multiple IT areas and 2 to 3 years of relevant enterprise-wide architecture experience in one or more specialty areas. ? Experience working with .NET framework (.NET, MVC, C#) , API and Azure migrations ? Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently ? Process a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies Preferred Experience: ? Minimum 5 -10 years experience using Agile/Scrum Development Methodology ? Experience working with education software systems at the school, district, or state levels. ? Experience using relational databases (writing queries, etc) using SQL Server and Oracle ?
