Candidates should be experts in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5 including performance handling, optimization, security, and AJAX. Candidates should have the ability to understand multi-tier web based transaction systems, code/content separation and have working experience with JSP and JSTL. Candidates should have JavaScript framework experience – the JavaScript framework leveraged in this position is based on YUI3 - integration of reusable design patterns using this library (knowledge of front-end RIA development using JavaScript framework such as YUI, Angular.js, and Node.js) Candidates should be able to review and analyze requirements, wireframe / mockup review and work with user experience and product teams. Responsibilities include: - Technical analysis, design, construction and deployment of highly complex and scalable internet web-based applications - Demonstrates ability to apply J2EE design patterns, technical principles, tools and best practices - Utilizes application design knowledge with a thorough understanding of J2EE technologies - Participates in peer design and code reviews to ensure adherence to design, preparation of test data, testing and debugging of applications - Participates in Systems Integration Testing and migration of platforms and applications to production - Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area during project and release rollout to production - Reviews system specifications, participates in continuous tuning of the platform for optimal performance and scalability Preferred skills: - Around 7 to 8 years of web development experience; including programming and developing Internet Web applications involving analysis, design, preparation of technical documentation, development and implementation, and environment support. - 5+ years experience with Web and J2EE centric design patterns - 5+ years knowledge of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework specifically Spring framework - 5+ years J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, and AJAX. - 5+ years of JavaScript development and framework experience (RIA, YUI, Angular.js, Node.js) - 2+ years of how to prevent XSS (Cross site scripting) and XSRF (Cross site request forgery) - 2+ years of experience with application profiling and performance tuning - Strong experience using CSS3, HTML5, DHTML, AJAX, JSF, JavaScript and proven expertise in JSON - Advanced JavaScript (closures, event handling, performance tuning, Object oriented design, data structures), Responsive design, grids, etc. - Experience integrating with SOAP/REST Web Services, XML schema, and XML parsing - Setting up and implementing JUnit (or other) testing framework - Familiar with source code control tools, such as GIT or Subversion - Experience with Agile Methodologies - Good development and communication skills, must have demonstrated ability to work with other developers within the team, business and technical groups   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
