Description: We are searching for a full stack web developer to help us build great web applications for custom classrooms and virtual classrooms for Technical Universities. The resource will be working on the student portals (Angular 1/2/4, Vue.Js, JavaScript, CSS3/HTML5, C# WebAPI, and SQL Back-end procedures). The candidate should feel comfortable troubleshooting at the client, server, machine, and network levels. A minimum of 4 years of web development experience is required, with good communication skills. The existing stack requires the engineer to have a strong understanding of C#, MVC 3+, ADO.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Visual Studio 2013+. Experience writing and consuming Restful and WCF services would be necessary. We also use some JavaScript SPA frameworks, experience with Angular, Knockout, Ionic, etc. would be a plus. Write code to meet technical specifications. Test code and make appropriate modifications. Complete appropriate documentation in compliance with all procedures and standards. Recommend improvements/modifications to designs. Advise Business Analysts and non-technical people on issues as appropriate Report progress to managers, project leads, customers and other required parties as appropriate. Contributes to and manages small to medium projects. Provides guidance and direction to lower-level developers. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices and processes of software development. Significant expertise needed to complete complex assignments. Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts. Assignments are broad in nature and require ingenuity and originality. Solves complex problems often taking a new perspective using existing solutions. Works under general direction with latitude to proceed on some actions or decisions. Required Skills: Web Development Experience in .Net (C#), MVC, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Rest. Experience using Visual Studio 2013+ Mobile development experience (Native and Web) would be a plus. Applied knowledge of object oriented programming techniques, methods and structures. Applied knowledge of data access and update techniques, methods and structures. Applied knowledge of multi-tier internet application architectures using Microsoft technologies Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team Ability to rapidly learn and apply new, emerging application development and integration technologies and techniques. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats. Ability to create and maintain positive, productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical personnel.
