Specifically, this resource will be tasked with building and supporting web and mobile interactive applications primarily using Esri platforms. PDA has focused primarily on COTS GIS applications. The development needs of the agency revolve around custom functions and workflows otherwise not available through ArcGIS Online customizable applications. Opportunities exist for new development, integration with existing non-GIS .Net applications, and customization/adaptation of existing applications within the delivery center. The resource will be responsible for developing approved designs/approaches, coding, testing, documentation and related implementation work in conjunction with, where appropriate, other IT and GIS persons at the delivery center. Additionally, this resource will, as time allows – be tasked with other development tasks where GIS is being implemented within the Department. Specific Duties: • Utilize current technology to develop critical GIS application systems and functionality • Development of integration techniques to link together multiple systems, particularly GIS and custom .Net solutions • Automation of enterprise GIS system tasks via scripting APIs • Create application documentation • Assist in the support and maintenance of existing applications • Continue the development of applications and tools to effectively collect and share PDA GIS data assets Skill Requirements: 1. GIS Application Development with JavaScript APIs – 4 years a. Visual Studio b. HTML/HTML 5 2. MVC.Net Development – 3 years 3. .Net Core Development -1 year (nice to have) 4. ESRI ArcGIS Server products for map service development – 1 years 5. ESRI ArcGIS desktop products for GIS data development, processing, and analysis – 1 year 6.
