THIS POSITION WILL PERFORM QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) REQUIREMENTS AND SUPPORT USER ACCEPTANCE (UA) TESTING OF SOFTWARE CODING CHANGES TO MEDICAID SYSTEMS RELATED DATA. TESTING OF CHANGES WILL INCLUDE TESTING WITH THE USERS AND EXTERNAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND TRADING PARTNERS AS NEEDED. THIS PROJECT REQUIRES INTERFACING WITH OTHER AGENCIES AND OTHER INTERNAL SYSTEMS. The Mainframe Quality Assurance team is a combination of Clemson information technology professionals and experienced consultants, and we are seeking individuals who are highly productive, very flexible, and can work effectively in an environment where ambiguity is common. Team members are expected to contribute with minimal supervision and be self-motivated. WHAT TYPES OF STAFFING CHALLENGES OR HEADACHES HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED IN THE PAST? • Resumes that include extensive details for candidates with limited actual experience. Especially, with candidates who may have participated on “many” projects but were not required to implement a project from start to finish or provide significant contribution to the project. • Candidates who have very little QA/Testing Experience, a lot of development experience. • Recruiters submitting multiple, clearly unqualified candidates • Candidates unable to prepare and deliver a coherent presentation as part of the interview process. • Resumes that exceed two pages make it difficult to review timely.
