Environment is primarily IBM mainframe, COBOL, CICS, and DB2. Requires good oral and written communication, planning, organizing, controlling, decision making, problem-solving, accountability, initiative, analysis and judgment skills. The level of proficiency of each skill should be appropriate for the job position. Using low to high complexity business requirements, author detail design documentation, create program specifications of moderate to high complexity from high-level specifications, write programs of medium to high complexity, demonstrate proficiency in developing, executing and analyzing process test plans. Requires light supervision for low to high complexity project task work, requires light supervision for support group coordination, assesses and recommends solutions to keep assignments focused on objectives, recognizes, evaluates and pursues solutions for issues on assignments, gives guidance to and coordinates some project task work. Communicates well with all project team(s) members, all support groups, and upper management.
