Hands-on experience with Oracle Database Migration, Patching, Upgrades, admin utilities/console; and cloning test and development environments from production environment. Knowledge in underlying Oracle Applications database architecture - schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes, and constraints. Experience with configuration, load balancing, backup/recovery, sizing and space management, PL/SQL tuning, diagnostics, and proficient with the use of Oracles Enterprise Manager GRID Control Application or DBConsole Tool. Install and maintain all software components as required to run Oracle App Server - Listeners, Forms Server, Apps Server, Concurrent Managers etc. Excellent trouble shooting abilities to identify root cause of production issues and resolve them quickly to maintain high availability. Experience opening, managing, and resolving Oracle SRs. Demonstrated experience with utilizing project management methodologies, analysis and cost controls. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and client-facing skills. Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to a business audience Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on delivery, responsiveness, ownership and accountability are also critical. Oracle database Admin certification desired but not required. Solid Infrastructure knowledge related to Security, backups, storage, network, etc. as it relates to Oracle Administration Must have 3 years experience managing and tuning Oracle Database Systems.
