Job Specific Responsibilities - Provide senior development leadership for distributed applications focused on Microsoft Windows and .NET related platforms - Develop solutions, diagrams, charts, documentation, and any other activites of the software development life cycle - Responsible for the quality and delivery of our development, framework architecture, and technical project components - Review and approve technical designs - Conduct code QIs and ensure that software development projects are delivered successfully - Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring for development team members on best practices - Lead efforts to evaluate, recommend and/or implement innovation in our development stack - Serve as a source of architecture, lead development documentation and standards definition - Help maintain, grow, and improve existing code bases - Demonstrate excellent analytical, oral and written communications skills with internal partners and project teams - Consult with project teams on designs for important projects or services - Support existing business applications - Expert in multiple languages and tools - Strong organizational skills and the ability to be a positive team player - Understand business objectives and how those impact strategic technology initiatives - Ability to manage multiple projects Candidate Requirements Required Experience: - Experience leading technical teams or large development projects from an architect or senior developer perspective. - Demonstrated ability to provide development leadership; mentor talent, and work to establish best practices - Must be able to write highly efficient and maintainable code, write documentation, and develop strong testing strategies - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and provide analysis - Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, goal-oriented environment - Demonstrate strong initiative, attention to detail and the ability to be a quick learner - Have a positive approach, collaborate with other team members, and commit to common objectives Required knowledge: C#, Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, Soap, MQ and related technologies. Preferred knowledge: Unix Scripting, Unix/Linux Servers, Windows Servers, Microsoft IIS, TCP/IP communications Preferred Qualifications 6+ yrs. of related IT experience.
