This is Contract to hire so NO H1B CANDIDATES REQUIRED SKILLS: -Minimum 5-7 years of MicroStrategy experience with an emphasis on dashboard/project development in v9 -Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy platform in Unix environment -Using MicroStrategy Architect and desktop to design a project including creating facts, attributes, relationships and hierarchies -Creation of reports , cubes and dashboards using Report Services and OLAP Services -Performance tuning using VLDB settings -Extensively worked in creating and integrating MicroStrategy objects such as reports, dashboards, attributes, facts, metrics, filters and prompts. -Oracle -Data Warehousing OLAP -Must have excellent communication skills. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: -9.X Certification - (Certified Project Designer (CPD), Certified Report Developer (CRD ) Preferable RESPONSIBILITIES: -The MicroStrategy consultant will be the key player responsible for delivering secure reporting interfaces , new reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy 9 Report Services and OLAP services. -Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Business Intelligence solutions within a dynamic, complex data environment. -Must have strong technical and analytical skills, be eager to learn new, demanding techniques, and communicate with developers and business sponsors in relation to development efforts. -Candidate must be capable of managing multiple tasks and development efforts simultaneously. . -Candidate must be a self-starter, capable of taking ideas through to implementation. Must be highly motivated and highly productive. -Design business intelligence solutions that adhere to industry and software development standards for a large, complex Oracle warehouse environment. -Optimize the BI environment and processes for best performance (resorted from below) -Define processes to move BI services into development, test & production environments. -Conduct design and code walkthroughs -Conduct unit test of Business Intelligence components. -Work to resolve challenging technical problems -Assist Technical Architect in performing Data Quality Assessments -Assist Business Analyst in performing Functional, Analytic, and Report Testing -Assist in the development of efficient batch stream processes in a complex environment -Assist in documentation   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
