Middleware Installation Configuration Apache Tomcat Middleware Technologies Administ   Requirement id 12532 Job title Engineer Job location in Washington, DC Skills required Middleware, IT Infrastructure, Installation, Configuration Apache Tomcat Middleware T Open Date 01-Mar-2013 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 12 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Face to Face interview Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Engineer: Middleware, IT Infrastructure, Installation, Configuration Apache Tomcat Middleware T Experis is looking for a Middleware Web Engineer for a contract position with one of our leading clients in Washington, DC REQUIRED SKILLS: -The CBTOP Data Centre Services Team is seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience supporting Jive based environment. -This candidate is expected to have a lead role in all aspects of maintaining all Jive based applications used in IFCs IT infrastructure environment. -Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting Jive based environments -Minimum 5 years of experience in installing, configuring and supporting Apache Tomcat based Middleware Infrastructure solutions. -Minimum 7 years of experience in Middleware related technologies. -Hands on experience in installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Jive software, Apache Web servers, Tomcat Web application servers, Authentication and Authorization tools (Netegrity Siteminder) and applications. -Strong Experience with single-sign-on (authentication and authorization mechanisms), preferably using CAs Netegrity Siteminder in Production environment. -Strong experience with Business Continuity and Disaster recovery implementations in the Web/Middleware platform. -Experience in working on UNIX and Windows platforms. -Good understanding of the Software development lifecycle. -Must possess strong writing and interpersonal skills and must be able to work under tight schedule and deadlines. -Ability to train and mentor junior staff -BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent and masters is a plus NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: -Strong project management capabilities, demonstrated through experience managing IT projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Senior Middleware Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining all aspects of middleware applications for client. -Installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting Jive Software for integrated with CAs Siteminder for Single Sign On. -Apache and Tomcat Middleware Infrastructures for various web applications, Messaging system, Authentication and Authorization tools (Netegrity Siteminder) and applications -Participate in the design, construction and implementation of applications implementation of a strong Business continuity solution for Apache Tomcat based applications with an Oracle database back-end -Providing infrastructure design, analytical and Web administration services to application development projects, including maintaining production applications. -Work closely with operating system and database administrators to define platform requirements, measure and tune performance, carry out capacity planning, define security standards and implement them. -Perform R & D activities and manage Infrastructure technical projects. -Should be flexible to work in shifts and weekends on as needed basis in close co-ordination with onsite and offshore team as well as with end users across the globe, in a multi-vendor/service provider environment. -Creation and maintenance of technical documents as per standards followed for client -Mentoring and guiding junior staff -Provide necessary performance related reports including KPIs as per request by the clients supervisory staff   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
