The work required includes: • Assessment of file server and other networking equipment to determine systems in need of upgrade/replacement (the current file server is 7 plus years old); development of specifications and recommendations for purchasing new systems as appropriate • Break down/disassemble, prep, box, and secure all networking systems and equipment in existing “server room” for the move • Set up/assemble. install and configure of equipment at the new location (MDF/server room); transfer/migrate systems to new server as appropriate Responsibilities: 1. Subject matter expert on IT equipment (particularly file server and networking equipment) 2. Performs assessment of all our IT related equipment 3. Provides advice and recommendations on purchasing new systems 4. Develops specifications for purchasing new systems 5. Has the ability to break down, disassemble, prep, box, and secure all networking systems and equipment for our move 6. Set up and assemble, install and configure all equipment at new location 7. Transfer/migrate systems to new server 8. Work with EOTSS to insure all equipment is running smoothly and properly 9. Work with the Management Team to develop a plan to move all IT to the new office location 10. Identifies and resolves issues 11. Creates and maintains technical and project documentation 12. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills 13. Other related duties and/or ad-hoc work as needed Qualifications 1. Minimum of Associates Degree in an IT related field. 2.
