Key Responsibilities: •Technical Lead responsible for all aspects of the delivery centers SAN and NAS storage systems. o Support all enterprise block storage devices (Dell/IBM) including Primary and DR data centers replication, including setup and management. o Manage Networked Attached Storage (NAS) devices utilizing Superna SyncIQ and Superna Eyeglass DR edition including Primary and DR data center replication, and all aspects of DR testing. o Work closely with VMware team to create, assign, configure and monitor storage LUNS o Provide guidance and participate in Disaster Recovery drills, including enterprise, LUN, and server level events, producing LUN, server and file level restores on block and NAS storage. o Work with vendor on hardware/software support issues, perform OS, firmware and other updates as required. o Work with vendor to implement new technologies and upgrade equipment as required. o Day to day tasks will be assigned via our ticketing system to ensure clearly defined tasks, provide historical records. • Data Protection Suite: o Manage backups (VM, file level, SQL, ORACLE, LINUX, Windows) on 1900+ servers utilizing DELL IDPA DPS (AVAMAR / Data Domain 9300). o Troubleshoot backup failures and hardware issues, opening and tracking tickets with vendor as required o Data Replication, setup, and management. o Set up and monitor DD Boost. o M-tree creation and capacity monitoring. Position will work closely with: • VMware team, Network team, Windows, Linux, SQL, ORACLE server teams, OAs Backup team, AD team, PEMA, IBM storage, CISCO support, Dells support (Data protection, Block, and NAS), Superna, and state agencies as required. Qualifications/Requirements: • Required; minimum of 8 years experience supporting Block and NAS storage a minimum of 6 years with DELL/EMC storage. • Required; minimum of 8 years experience supporting SAN fabric switches, LUN creation, configurations. • Required; minimum of 8 years experience with the following: Management of ISILON utilizing Superna management suite, OneFS System upgrades, ISILON hardware system upgrades, DNS functionality / File server management, VM level backups, setup and management, Data Replication, setup, and management (Block and NAS), Understanding of how VMWare utilizes storage, LUN Zoning/Mapping setup and monitoring, Snapshot configurations and LUN level recovery. • Desired; have experience implementing on prem Air Gap Ransomware solution NAS or Backup.
