The Candidate(s) proposed must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in General Mainframe Development (Category 16), specifically: a. Experience with best practice design and development of CICS/COBOL online applications and COBOL batch applications that use DB2 for z/OS; b. Experience testing server and mainframe based applications that use DB2 for z/OS; 5. The Candidate(s) proposed must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in General Database Administration/ Database Development/ Data Analysis (Category 17), specifically: a. Experience with DB2 for z/OS best practice related to environment management (e.g. development, qa, prod); b. Experience with DB2 for z/OS security, privileges and authorities; 6. Capability and commitment to document and transfer knowledge of their work; and 7. Ability to work directly and indirectly with other team members. B. Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications: 1. Candidate(s) proposed have demonstrated experience in the following: a. Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning in DB2 for z/OS; b. Experience with DB2 for z/OS table space design considerations; c. Experience with DB2 for z/OS backup and recovery; d. Experience with migrating from or to other RDBMS products and platforms; e. Experience with DB2 for z/OS security versus RACF/DB2 external security module; f. Experience with IBM Optimization Center and Data Studio; g. Experience with Quests Toad for DB2 for z/OS; h. Experience in object-oriented analysis and design, modeling and development; i. Experience in the design, development, implementation and consumption of services within a service oriented architecture; j. Experience with the configuration of development and test environments for server and mainframe based applications using DB2 for z/OS; and/or 2.
