Review and evaluate technical specifications. Review and evaluate procurements from both a technical and financial perspective. Support and take responsibility for enterprise licensing, budget and forecasting efforts. Ensure compliance with business objectives and requirements. Assist NYS staff with project vendor(s) / system integrator(s). Ensure functionality is integrated with other applications. Create Logical and Physical Technology Models. Work with Vendor and NYS ITS to support existing infrastructure. Support Enterprise Architecture review and governance. Participate in Data Governance meetings. Fulfill research/review priority requests from management. Review new and existing data designs including database, SQL and ETL applications to ensure correctness. System and Vendor Quality Assurance. Qualifications: Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions, and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. 84 Months - Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 Months of Enterprise Architecture experience including managing enterprise solutions, software license agreements, procurements, RFIs, RFPs and overall enterprise budgets. Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or similar field of study. 84 months creating, reviewing, and presenting enterprise-wide proposals to senior executives. 84 months of experience with data systems utilizing Oracle and other leading database platforms. 84 months of experience designing and implementing Service Oriented systems. 84 months of experience leading the technical and business discussions relative to future enterprise direction, and aligning architectural strategy with business goals 84 Months of experience with State and Federal Security requirements including NIST 800. 84 Months designing, developing and procurement of System and Data integration platforms across at least 20 independent systems 84 Months managing at least 5 Vendors and their deliverables. 84 Months of experience developing and presenting White Papers on current and future architecture trends and their impact on the organization. 84 months of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications. 84 months experience in infrastructure Capacity Planning, Performance Management, and related functions.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
