Certified Information Systems Security Professional

Provide SME level support for A&A processes.
"Must have expertise with NIST 800-53 Rev 3 & 4 Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems
and Organizations, NIST 800-37 Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems, FISMA"

1. We need a surge team to organize, execute, and manage agency-level corrective actions in response to OIG findings.
2. We are looking mid-senior level security professional experienced in conducting compliance activities in accordance with NIST Risk Management Framework.
3. The surge team members must work independently and effectively within a group of other mid-senior level professionals.
4. The team members should be very familiar with managing Department-level plans of action and milestones, and familiarity with reporting systems.
5. Team members should have 5-7 years of experience in systems compliance, and risk management.
6. Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Computer Systems Management is required, and CISSP certification preferred.


Must have MINIMUM 5 Years experience with hands-on work to qualify for client labor category. Should be certified security professional (e.g. CISSP, CISA but not required).

Responsibilities


Required Skills:

Must have at least 6 years experience in cyber security incident collection, analysis, and reporting process/procedures
Ability to deep dive into system and firewall logs filtering for anomalous activity and produce reports of findings with recommendations
Fluency with Linux and Linux tools used to query log data and create scripts to automate future queries
2 years hands-on experience in the detection, response, mitigation, and/or reporting of cyber threats affecting client networks and one or more of the following:
Experience in computer intrusion analysis and incident response
Intrusion detection
Computer network surveillance/monitoring
Knowledge and understanding of network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures
Experience in computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery
Computer network forensics.
Experience with current cyber threats and the associated tactics, techniques, and procedures used to infiltrate computer networks
Current experience with network intrusion detection and response operations
Current experience with cyber threats and tactics, techniques, and procedures used to infiltrate computer networks
Demonstrated ability to document processes.
The ability to respond to crises objectively.

Required Education:

Bachelors degree or equivalent and twelve (12) years of general experience Six (6) years of general experience is equivalent to a Bachelors degree.
With a Masters degree, six (6) years of general experience is acceptable.
With a PhD, four (4) years of general experience is required.
