Currently, our client has IBMs Proviso toolbut it is not being utilized to its full capacity. We need someone who can help maximize its potential, determine benefits, identify/propose performance management improvements relative to the Tivoli Netcool Performance Management wire line application. We seek a combination architect, developer and trainer. Of the three rolesthe developer is the priority. This is a front-end, client-facing role. The consultant will showcase capabilities of Proviso, proposing solutions, gathering requirements from stakeholders, breaking them to technically actionable items and communicate them to offshore development team (in writing and daily meetings.) Consultant will maintain an active document for incoming requests and map them to ongoing and roadmap requests. Consultant will receive offshore deliverables and verify them for consistency and accuracy and present them back to the customer for sign-off, then will be responsible for leading, supporting the development efforts on the Tivoli Netcool Performance Management Wire line application. Development activities will include integration of new devices, nodes, circuits, for monitoring purposes as required by Customer. Netcool Omnibus is used for fault management purposes. Will engage in daily project planning and design meetings specific to Proviso development activities. Consultant will then train off-shore resources Must be willing to work on Mountain time, and may need to be available late evening (to communicate with off-shore resources).
