Job Description Developer: WebSphere 8.5, Niche, Installation, Configuration IBM HTTP Server Applicatio

Experience working with WebSphere 8.5.x is required; experience with WebSphere 6.1 is a plus

Perform administrative duties, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, tuning

Perform JAVA, WebSphere and application troubleshooting with Application Development staff or other administrators and assist with problem resolution

Analyze system performance and makes recommendations for optimization utilizing ITCAM/ITM

Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting and tuning of IBM HTTP Server (Apache) including creating/modifying URL rewrites/redirects, creating and supporting multiple virtual host environments

Responsible for working with other support teams to ensure a high availability of the applications and ability to recover

Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and other duties assigned by Comdata

Participate and police for the group the change management process and ticket flow

Function as technical lead for the team, duties will include monitoring/assigning ticket queue and prioritizing workloads

Work with Application Development support across environments (Production and non-production)

Track supported install base of 100+ application configurations and maintain inventory

Participate in on-call responsibilities
