Description: NoSQL Application DBA Responsibilities: Use your experience as an Application DBA with NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB Work with their current NoSQL databases which is Couchbase DB Work within Agile methodology/environment. Work on projects centered around AWS cloud platforms for the overall infrastructure and architecture. Utilize document database experience to provide insight into their current environment around what is working well and what doesnt and set up Architecture. Provide knowledge and expertise as a NoSQL Application DBA to the team and cross functional team members. Perform DBA duties relating to application DBA support. Work with NoSQL databases within AWS cloud environments. Tune, administer and architect large scale NoSQL clusters. Configure and administer NoSQL clusters in public cloud environments. Upgrade and install new NoSQL environments. Perform backups on NoSQL clusters and individual nodes. Perform implementation with database, row and document level encryption. Perform Shell Scripting. Utilize knowledge and experience around security concepts. Monitor and alter platforms such that they can create and adjust necessary monitoring scripts or services. NoSQL Application DBA Requirements: Mid to Senior level experience as a NoSQL Application DBA with the ability to provide expertise around MongoDB or other document NoSQL databases. Willingness and ability to learn and work with the clients existing NoSQL databases that are Couchbase DB. Document database experience to provide insight into their current environment around what is working well, and what doesnt and set up Architecture. Experience working with public cloud environments. Open to candidates with experience in any cloud environment, but must be willing to work with/learn how to work within AWS Redshift.
