Project Details: This team is building a new/modernizing pricing calculator platform that has some sales functionality as well. Join our original Agile Team and then move to our 2nd Agile team delivering in MEAN stack. We are building a data transformation layer in Node.JS that will move data from the sources into a database layer that supports the applications. They will also need to build REST services in Node.JS. Angular 6 with bootstrap and home-grown CSS on the front end. Candidates must have experience with Unit testing. Responsibilities: • Mean Stack development on an Agile Team • Coding 80%: Write and Test code in Node JS and Angular Build UI components in Angular Create services in Node.JS & Express.JS Unit test • 20% accountable for planning\designing\grooming in meetings Qualifications • Node.JS – experience with node and modeling objects and services. Swagger experience a plus • Angular (2.0) – experience with best practices. Knows how to split code out appropriately so we dont have one large project. • Using Angular Material components for UI (Material Design) • Typescript – (Nest.js a plus) • Experience with automated unit tests – Use Jest.js and are targeting at least 80% code coverage • Experience with Aurora Database by Amazon– understanding performance gains and modeling data to be most efficient, stable and effective. • Experience in Azure DevOps of comparable tools We use Agile scrum teams and track epic\feature\stories\tasks in DevOps Ability to create build and release pipelines - automated deployments(CI\CD) and run integrated tests (if they use Jenkins and are familiar could easily learn DevOps) Code Repos - git - branching\merging strategy for the developers a plus Defects are tracked in DevOps so everything can be tracked in Dev ops from start(requirements) to finish (deployment) Swagger experience a plus • We have Standard Wellmark APIs to use for authentication\logging\linting\config-env variables\encryption-decryption\DocuSign\Event • Demonstrates Agile mindset and working knowledge of Agile practices including Scrum, Kanban, User Story Writing, eXtreme Programming, and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe) Desired Skills/Attributes • Experience with Agile Engineering Practices including Continuous Integration, Test Driving Development (TDD), Pair Programming, Automated Testing, Evolutionary Design, etc Nice to Have: Experience in AWS a plus– Networking and firewall deployment troubleshooting, deploying code in Docker Containers vs AWS lambda, etc   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
