New development in the MEAN stack. They will need to build a data transformation layer in Node.JS that will move data from the sources into a database layer that supports the applications. They will also need to build REST services in Node.JS as well. Angular 6 with bootstrap and home-grown CSS on the front end. Candidates must have experience with Unit testing. Responsibilities: • Lead a team of Mean Stack Developers on an Agile Scrum team • Coding 20%: Write and Test code in Node JS and Angular Build UI components in Angular Create services in Node.JS & Express.JS Unit test • 80% accountable for planning\designing\code reviews\guiding developers • Agile sprint work will ideally be spent looking 4-6 months ahead on work Creating design and tech specs for future sprints Identifying dependencies – data needs\infrastructure needs\etc for future sprints Performing code reviews on pull requests from developers Answering developer questions on current sprint Automated Deployment questions and coordination We would like leads that can demonstrate these type of skills: Ability to lead developers Ability to work with architects to create tech specs and follow architecture design patterns. Ability to work with UX team to verify application functionality meets development standards and will work efficiently from a code perspective while following UX style guides. Ability to work with WAAS Leads\Data Modelers to understand data structure and API needs.
