Job Description : Position Description: The organizational change management (OCM) consultant will play a key role in helping change initiatives meet business objectives. As a member of the OCM team, the key requirements of the position include providing strategic guidance in the design, development, and implementation of organizational change plans and communications. This individual will serve as a role model, demonstrating the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others. Essential Job Functions Change Management Develops OCM strategy and plan for IT initiatives including communications, coaching, sponsor, training, resistance management and change acceptance/sustainment Coaches business subject matter experts (SMEs) and project team members through the development and maintenance of required OCM Applies the OCM framework to effectively lead the people side of change Creates metrics to recognize people-related risks and anticipated resistance, develops plans to mitigate and resolve resistance Creates, monitors, and tracks metrics for adoption, utilization and proficiency required by individuals impacted by a change Conducts change readiness assessments, evaluates results, presents findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner Identifies the need for and implements corrective action plans to address and resolve performance and other organizational “current/future state” gaps Uses and promotes the OCM strategy and methodology. Aligns strategy to Agile SAFe® software development methodology Communications Provides guidance in the development and maintenance of communication plans and content Ensures messaging is appropriately dispersed across various channels including: newsletters, town halls, intranet, webcasts, and yodel, for various audiences Reviews and edits stakeholder communications to build commitment to the change Develops messaging to mitigate resistance Manages the development of stakeholders communication channels, 2-way communications Partners with communication team and general office communication teams to ensure consistency and alignment with their overarching communication objectives Competencies/Skills Understands the phases people go through when faced with change and a process for guiding them through it, this understanding is generally acquired through the successful completion of an industry standard OCM certification Performs essential functions with limited supervision.
