Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to trouble shoot, identify sources of issues and implement solutions to problems through NLP and machine learning expertise Assist product and IT teams in product implementation through support in NLP, Machine learning and Cognitive Computing technology components Provide guidance on NLP concepts including - named entity recognition, negation and uncertainty identification, spelling error identification and recovery, sentence segmentation, part-of-speech tagging and parsing etc. Educate teams in language structure, language processing technologies and applying that information to analyze medical records in developing computer assisted coding Supporting teams with expertise in the areas of Optical Character Recognition (OCR), machine learning, text processing, text analytics and information retrieval Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical or clinical field or equivalent experience required Experience with research and development of NLP algorithms and understanding the complexities of unstructured data Experience in working in the Healthcare Industry and Computer Assisted Coding Experience with machine learning algorithms and optimization techniques Experience applying deep learning techniques to text and image data Experience in conducting data analysis in a SQL based environment; Microsoft Excel skills for the purpose of quantitative analysis are required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
