Good financial consolidation and planning process knowledge in particular In-depth knowledge of Oracle EPM products including Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Finance, and ODI Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Essbase calc scripts, and data validation technics. Extensive experience in the Enhancement and Maintenance of various applications using Hyperion, Essbase Ability to design, modify, develop, write, analyze and implement EPM applications supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Experience with software development using full life-cycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation). Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Ability to independently address a company system application need with user customers, cooperatively conceive a direction, and bring forth a recommended proposal for management review. Review business requirements and functional specifications to develop technical design. Ability to provide guidance & solutions for Hyperion related issues. Provide SME leadership & knowledge. Assist and coordinate less experienced team members Create project documentation Keep the client informed about progress, issues, and risks through regular written and verbal communications 10+ years of direct work experience in architecting, developing and supporting of Hyperion 7+ years experience in SQL, PL/SQL, OLAP, or Essbase calc scripts. Good understanding of Unix and experience developing shell scripts. Good understanding of Linux Peoplesoft experience is a plus.
