Position will assist IT project teams in data modeling development and application trouble-shooting. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and enforcing guidelines and standards for relational databases in a client-server and web-based environment. Defining and establishing the necessary infrastructure to effectively support the information architecture and supporting agency database consolidation and data migration initiatives. Required Skills: * Strong DBA experience to include substantial experience working with Oracle 11g * OEM installation, upgrade and use * PSU patching * Extensive experience with SQL scripts * Self directed with strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with teams or independently * System, database, and SQL performance and tuning * Dataguard physical standby creation and maintenance * RMAN scripting * ASM on Linux * Strong working knowledge of HA solutions * In depth knowledge of Windows * Experience working with Oracle 12c multitenancy in a production environment * Experience with Oracle 11g and 12c RAC installation and upgrade Desired Skills: * Experience with SQL Server 2008 or higher * Experience with Linux system administration * Oracle Certified Professional Certification * Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
