Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex software solutions. Develops original and/or complex code, may provide coding guidance to less experienced staff. May perform modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by ensuring the accurate preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing. Participates in the migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides. Acts as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting; provides guidance and direction with problem resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and may participate in testing of the business continuity plan. Responsibilities include: • Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs • Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software • Produce Functional System Design Documents • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams and code comments • Provide 24X7 application support by participating in an on-call batch rotation Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience • 5+ years of Active Directory knowledge • 3+ years of Active Directory programming or scripting • 5+ years of source/version control tools experience • 5+ years of experience writing Microsoft SQL Server relational database queries and stored procedures. • 2+ years of experience with software architecture design principles and designing software solutions • 3+ years of Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience • 5+ years of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience • 3+ years of C# experience Desired Qualifications: • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Knowledge and understanding of information security principles, policies, and procedures. • Web Services experience • IIS experience • Perl or Shell experience • Secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience • 2+ years of experience gathering and reviewing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) • Design / Development of UX/UI for analytical data and dashboard reporting • Implementation/Optimization of LINQ queries utilizing Entity Framework • Developing Windows Services, Web Services, Restful Services and/or WCF Services • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions • 2+ years of experience writing performing Microsoft SQL Server query optimization and performance tuning • 2+ years of experience developing ASP.NET MVC applications using the Razor syntax • 3+ years of ASP.Net experience • 5+ years of experience of Active Directory and LDAP, including how to perform LDAP queries • 2+ years of experience with cre   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
