Description:* Primary Duties Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and deployment of application software across multiple systems on a fast-paced, agile development schedule. Work directly with developers, project leads and project stakeholders to understand and resolve issues and clarify requirements. Respond to production issues by conducting root cause analysis and identifying the underlying issue. Desired Skills/Experience Minimum experience: 4+ years proficiency coding, testing and problem-solving skills with Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL. Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies Experience with: Object-oriented programming and computer science foundations Software security best practices Progress OpenEdge database design and performance OpenEdge Architect, Open Edge 11, Web Service integrations and development using SOAP, REST, Webspeed; and UNIX all required Experience in Modernizing the legacy Progress OpenEdge applications HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, AJAX, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular, React etc.) Unit testing Agile/SCRUM development methodology are a plus.
