Network Engineering & Operational Experience including: o F5 Load balancer, deployment, maintain, upgrade and engineering o Check Point Firewall (Required), includes: Management & deployment, including firewall design & implementation of rules, OS assessment & upgrades, etc. o Juniper Firewall (Required), includes: Management & deployment, including firewall design & implementation of rules, OS assessment & upgrades, etc. o CISCO Firewall (Optional), includes: Management & deployment, including firewall design & implementation of rules, OS assessment & upgrades, etc. CCNA, CCISP Certifications a Plus ITIL V3 experience (Incident, Change, and Problem) Analytical minded Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-Starter with ability to work with little direction Responsibilities Include: Incident Management: o Monitor and detect issues o Resolve incidents and restore services o Record Incidents in ticketing tools Support Functions o Create and implement Firewall rules and filters o Developing complex Firewall rule sets and routing through a diverse three tier infrastructure o Make system configuration changes o Perform device OS/Firmware & Patch updates o Load balancer configuration changes and updates. o Perform Unused Rule Analysis o Metrics reporting o System performance evaluation and recommendation o Plan and execute routine, schedule maintenance on network infrastructure devices. o Perform regular health checks on network devices to ensure services are online and operational. Change Management: o Record Changes, and following HP ITIL defined processes. o Participate in Peer Reviews o Document Implementation & Back out procedures. o Identify impact of changes, and assess risks Problem Management: o Perform a Root Cause Analysis of a Problem o Execute and follow agreed Action Plans.
