OSI CISSP CISA CISM Information Security Analyst (Jobs in MCLEAN, VA)   Requirement id 22385 Job title Analyst Job location in Mclean, VA Skills required Network Security, OSI, Penetration Testing Tools, CISSP CISA CISM Information Security Open Date 30-Dec-2014 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 11 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: Network Security, OSI, Penetration Testing Tools, CISSP CISA CISM Information Security Responsibilities: * Assist in communicating and facilitating the requirements for security risk assessments for both custom developed and third-party applications within the companys Infrastructure. * As part of a team, develop the technology risk matrix to highlight areas of high risk for each of the critical/SOX applications within the company. * Assist in identifying and communicating application control deficiencies and the associated risks. * Develop action plans and/or recommends alternate solutions to resolve exceptions to standard operating procedures. * Provides security consulting and advisory services to business units and project teams. * Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers to formulate information security governance solutions for the company. * Researches and maintains knowledge base regarding information security issues, solutions and potential implications for the company. * Supports requirements gathering and design efforts of critical projects as needed. * This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining a continuous process improvement work environment while executing security risk assessments in accordance with industry standards and best practices. Additional Specifications: * CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent designation. Minimum Bachelor degree in Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Minimum 5 - 10 years of hands-on technology risk, security and/or governance experience. * Solid understanding of information security policies, standards, industry best practices, and frameworks. (ISO 27K, NIST 800 series, FISMA, BITS etc.) * Solid understanding of network security, OSI model, and information security architecture. * Demonstrated experience in penetration testing tools and techniques. * Demonstrated good written and communication skills. * Demonstrated good organizational skills with respect to time management and work production * Secondary mortgage market or equivalent financial services experience. * Experience with project management and/or program management.
