Oracle Data Stage XML Transformations Developer (Jobs in CHARLOTTE, NC)   Requirement id 8353 Job title Developer Job location in Charlotte, NC Skills required Data Acquisition And Data Integration, Oracle, SQL, Data Stage XML Transformations Open Date 07-Feb-2012 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 5 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Developer: Data Acquisition And Data Integration, Oracle, SQL, Data Stage XML Transformations [Note: Dead line: 02/10/2012] [Note : Start Date : 02-1-2012 End Date : 06-30-2013] Description : NC - Sr Datastage ETL Developer Job Purpose/ Description: * Minimum of 6-8 years of IT work experience focused in Data Acquisition and Data Integration using DataStage * Experience integrating the components of the following ORACLE, SQL and Data Stage (ETL) * Deep Experience working with flat files, XML transformations * Deep experience in Data Acquisition and Data Integration * Deep experience in ETL development using DataStage V8.x * Ability to design multi-tiered data delivery applications based on given requirements * Ability to facilitate requirements and design sessions with analytic business users * Experience creating high level and low level designs and working with business stakeholders * Minimum 6-8 years Experience with ORACLE * Analyzes performance and capacity issues of the highest complexity with systems / applications software and/or application components * Provides mentoring and training to junior staff * Excels at working collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts * Translates business requirements into functional / technical specifications; oversees implementation of these specifications Tasks and Responsibilities: * Logical descriptions the extract, transform, and load process * ETL High Level Design * ETL Detailed Design * Input and output record layouts * File/Directory naming conventions * File/table sizing information * File/table volume information * File retention/archival information * Documentation on how the data will be transformed * ETL Test Plan * ETL Performance Test Plan * Mapping Specification * Mappings * Workflows * Unit Test Documentation * Tested ETL processes * Validated ETL processes * Accurate and efficient ETL process moved to production Required education/experience: * Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. * 6-8 plus years of IT work experience in IBM DataStage is a MUST * 6-8 plus years of IT work experience in Oracle RDBMS is a MUST * 1-2 Years of Autosys is desirable   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
