Scope of Services Transportation Data & Analytics is looking for a Database Administrator capable of managing and maintaining all production and non-production databases located in the Transportation Data and Analytics Office. They will be responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration. The Database Administrator must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time. They must be able to work effectively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, to build efficient, long term solutions in the development of databases utilizing all established departmental standards. 5 Education Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 6 Experience Five plus years of experience working with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment. Must have experience with database platforms; SQL Server 2008R2, 2012 and Oracle 10g and above. Experience with Azure SQL and DB2 for z/OS is a plus. Experience with roadway inventory management database systems Experience with transportation linear referencing systems Experience with traffic monitoring and traffic data collection and processing systems Related Experience may include but are not required: 1.
