The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop business intelligence design across multiple platforms and computing environments. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to assist in developing an overall enterprise architecture that supports the Departments needs and meets Department and Division of State Technology (DST) security standards. 5 Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience 6 Experience The candidate must have skill and 7 years combined experience in business intelligence design and architecture for the following database platforms: 1. DB2 for z/OS 2. Oracle 10g and above 3. MS SQL Server 4. Azure SQL Additional Experience: 1. Experience with migrating data and applications from legacy platforms to cloud infrastructure 2. Experience with service-oriented architecture 3. Experience with designing data warehouse/data mart solutions 4. Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics solutions 7 Primary Job Duties/ Tasks This resource will primarily be tasked with performing business intelligence planning and operational activities including, but not limited to the following: 1. Business intelligence analyses for effort, application compatibility, remediation impact and priority 2. Plan, design, implement, support for business intelligence 3. Develop and maintain procedures and documentation 4. Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff 5. This resource may also be required to perform other data architecture or infrastructure activities as requested 8 Job Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs): The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of enterprise architecture 2. Ability to work independently in the technical analysis, evaluation and resolution of large Enterprise data architecture issues or problems, with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to remediate those issues or problems 3. Knowledge of data warehousing principles, design and practices 4. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments for him/herself or lower level data analysts. 5.
