Quickly understands functional and technical aspects of software development projects and offer excellent communication skills. Experience with developing web enabled State health emergency preparedness and response applications a strong plus and/or experience developing NJ State enterprise web applications. Must be a team player. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. Years of Relevant Experience: 5 plus Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study Role Description: The programmer will function as a team member to enhance the existing Hippocrates modules including enhancements to the incident managment and security and communicaiton channels modules within Hippocrates. Document all work. Contribute toward user/training guide materials. Particpate in design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements. Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. Develop contingency plans as necessary. Apply specific expertise to ensure that products meet defined customer objectives. Identify and track issues, risks and action items."
