High volume real-time application, processing > 500m transactions per day. Required skills: Ability to manage application support releases including scoping coordinating testing, providing and tracking status, communication with the client. Ability to manage application support functions including metrics tracking, issue / problem management and resolution processes. Ability to prepare client ready reports on application performance, processing, issues etc. Strong day-to-day client communications. SI background, preferably with experience of either development or test in one of the core technologies Oracle, Java or Informatica. Previous application support experience preferable. 100% role focuses on supporting managing App Support efforts, work closely with senior management and clients to manage App Support release scope and delivery. The day to day application support efforts including application monitoring, Help Desk Ticket management, defect resolution, coordinating deployments and addressing critical production issues. The project uses traditional SDLC and Agile methodologies, so it is imperative that the resource is able to work independent and quickly be able to manage and drive issues to resolution and communicate status to senior management and clients.
