The position requires a hands-on Architect who has experience with service oriented architecture. Job Description: Lead teams to design and develop complex IT business solutions. Provides oversight on the architecture and design of business applications. Participates in design and code reviews to evaluate and ensure that the design being applied meets policies, principles, and standards. Reviews and aligns COTS product choices to ensure that enterprise technical standards are met. Drive adoption of new technologies. Define and implement standards and best practices for system development processes. Mentor and educate development team to ensure division wide acceptance and implementation of architecture and standards. Define and implement proof of concept for new initiatives. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to senior and junior developers on project assignments. Skill-set Should have around 10 years of IT development experience. Must have exposure to different technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, Win Forms, VB 6, ASP, WPF, WCF, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc. Should have at least five years of experience working as an IT solutions architect performing design and development of complex systems with a focus on best practices for scalability, security, maintainability, and system performance using the full stack of Microsoft technologies. Must have very good understanding and experience in developing solutions using different design patterns. Credit card processing and e-Commerce related experience are required. Message Queuing (MQ) experience is required. Hands on experience on Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) is required. Integration with legacy systems experience is required.
