Oracle Reports TOAD Java Developer (Jobs in Unknown, KY)   Requirement id 4402 Job title Developer Job location in Unknown, KY Skills required PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, TOAD Java Open Date 18-May-2011 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 12 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Developer: PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, TOAD Java [Note : They need to have Eagle Pace experience] Targeted Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of computer programming languages and code Proven experience in developing functional applications and systems of medium to high technical complexity. • Develops using knowledge of Wall Street institutions and securities processing, i.e., Bloomburg, SunGard, BONY, IDC, Reuters, SIAC, etc. • Performs security analytics, i.e., OAS, risk metrics, bond math, performance attribution, etc. • Resolves application and technical problems of the highest complexity. • Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives. • Analyzes performance issues of the highest complexity with systems / applications software and/or application components. • Continuously cultivates knowledge of emerging technologies. • Excels at working collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts. • Translates business requirements into functional / technical specifications; oversees implementation of these specifications. · Possesses an understanding of the underlying data sources, e.g., databases, XML, services, as well as expertise in interpreting the requirements provided by the user. · Involved in the integration, query, and analysis of gathered and stored data to provide key performance measurements to make better business decisions · Extensive knowledge in Equities Portfolio Management, trade processing and trade reporting, supervisory reporting, corporate actions and performance reporting is required. · At least 10 years of hands on experience in writing PL/SQL, Procedures, Functions, Packages and OLAP functions in ORALCE 9/10. · High caliber knowledge in optimizing complex queries. · At least 3 years of solid knowledge and hands on experience in Oracle Forms (v6.0) and Oracle Reports (v6.0) · Demonstrated knowledge in using EAGLE PACE (V9 and above) ETL and EAGLE PACE SRM · Demonstrated knowledge in using Informatica Power center tools 7.1 and above for implementation of ETL methodologies in Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading. · Demonstrated knowledge in Tools such as TOAD and ORACLE SQL Developer. · Demonstrated knowledge in using AUTOSYS tool to schedule ETL jobs · Working knowledge of C-Shell, K-Shell and Solaris 2.8 and above. · Working knowledge of SCCS STAR TEAM · Ability to understand or modify existing PERL scripts is a plus · Working knowledge of Java and J2EE framework is a plus · Good communication skills · Working knowledge of Actuate Report Designer and E-spreadsheet is a plus · Working knowledge in ITIL is a plus.
