The opening is a replacement Technical BA position for our wires project. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2019. The candidate qualifications for the technical BA position are: Hireable; 3-5 years experience of software configuration and system support, financial institution experience preferred; Scripting languages, Oracle/MS SQL/MySQL database and complex queries; Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; Agile methodology knowledge and experience; Strong communication skills. Seeking a Technical Business Analyst for our wire payment project team. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience necessary to help the team implement and support a new wire payment system. In this role, you will work closely with the stakeholders to review, analyze, evaluate and document business and systems requirements; to setup and configure the software systems, the system processes and application workflows; to implement the system on time on budget and with high quality. Position Description (attach if necessary): Responsibilities: The key responsibilities include but not limited to: • Leads the requirements definition and gathering process for assigned projects. Elicit, analyze, document and manage business requirements and rules • Research, analyze and communicate business system capabilities and processes. Work closely with stakeholders to identify process improvements and provide various options for systems design that increase efficiencies while considering impact and integrity. • Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade application systems when required. • Create user stories and acceptance criteria for identified features. • Ensure business applications/systems are functioning properly and accessible to users • Ability to document current & future workflows, gather requirements and perform gap analysis on Business processes. • Gathering reporting requirements, writing reports and delivering right solutions. • Creation, management and execution of application testing plans, procedures & tests. • Develop and update functional use cases and conduct business process modeling to explain business requirements to development and QA teams. • Assist teams to ensure requirements are translated to test plans and implement new functionalities. • Provide shared support including answering inquiries, trouble shooting and performing root cause analysis. Experience & Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in a degree related to computer science, business or a related field • 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in banking technology as technical business analyst • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. • Strong communication, facilitation and relationship building skills. • Ability to clearly bring together, communicate and document software and business requirements. • Data analysis experience • Knowledge or work experience of wire payment system is preferred. • Experience with Jira or other, similar Agile project management software • Experience with SQL, Excel, and other data tools for data mining, analytics, and reporting Technical Skills: • Good knowledge and work experience of SQL and relational database. - ability to write moderately complex queries and appreciate the data landscape • Demonstrable ability to look into code and analyze requirements   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
