Description:

Client is looking for a .Net Developer for a contract to possibly hire position with one of our leading financial clients in Newark, DE. Client requires a F2F Interview so candidates must be local to DE. Please email candidates along with rate and location to vera.french@experis.com. Ideal candidates would have a Financial and/or Mortgage Background.

Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements. Proficient in application development for a specific technology. This position should typically be used for a mid-level, more seasoned, fully proficient resource.

Required Skills:
8+ years experience as a Developer
ASP.NET/ C#
SQL Server 2008
Oracle 10g/11g (Optional)
JQuery
.NET Framework 3.5/4.0 including Visual Studio/TFS 2008/2010, C#, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET. ( DevEx experience a plus).
Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer,Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).

Key Responsibilities:
Following a disciplined SDLC process, design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document programming to satisfy business requirements. support the production environment by identifying root cause for critical system issues to ensure timely resolution and minimize impact to the business partner. May be required to lead / coach a small team of application developers.
Skills / Attributes Required
The current technology infrastructure is based on Microsoft .NET 4.0 with ASP.NET/ C#, DevEx 11.1.8 and SQL Server 2008 for the database backend.
The ideal candidate would have solid experience with Microsoft development technologies and have extensive experience with Web-Forms, WCF, SOA Technologies (Web Services, DAL), Database (SQL) and extensive usage of Version Control systems.
Minimum eight years of relevant development life cycle experience in systems and applications management including systems/application design including a minimum five years experience with .Net technologies.
Deep understanding and ability to architect object oriented (OO) solutions to complex problems and experienced in utilizing design patterns.
Experience in managing team dealing with object oriented technologies.
Architectural understanding of clusters, failover and Disaster recovery configurations.
Experience with Ajax is a plus.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer,Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
Experience with Business Process Model (BPM).
Strong project management and team management skills.
Experience implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures.
Experience with offshore development resources/teams.
Self started, independent contributor and goal oriented to deliver quality solutions.
Experience with banking applications, especially Mortgage Banking and Pricing is a plus.
