Job Description :
Description: Software / Systems Engineer

Contraction Position: 12 month duration

Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products

Skillset:
5+ years programming experience with Visual Studio (VB, C#..)
Strong development lifecycle process and documentation for medical (Requirements generation, software design reviews, verification\validation (IQ\OQ\PQ), traceability matrix)
Strong system design understanding (hardware, software, physics, test)
(preferred )Experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred)
(preferred) Regulatory experience in medical (ISO 13485, ISO 18472)
(preferred) Works well in a collaborative environment

PC Code development
Work together with on-site team to complete development of PC code for new sterilizer system
Lead PC software reviews, document findings, and make applicable code updates after reviews
Verify and validate the software
Write verification and validation test cases for protocols
Execute protocols
Write reports

PLC Code review / validation
Review externally-developed PLC code and debug interface with PC code
Develop test cases to test interface PLC / PC interface
Assist in verifying and validating the PLC software
Write verification and validation protocols
Execute protocols
Write reports


Niche skill set or specialty product experience. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
Responsibilities:
1. Revises and refines systems as required.
2. Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation. Involved in testing and ongoing support of business systems.
3. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
4. Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
