Provide project management and business analysis support for defining Master Data Management Governance for agency. PM should follow processes and practices established by the Project Management Institute (PMI). This individual will work closely with the vendor and Program Area, this includes, but is not limited to, a. defining project scope and requirements, b. creating work plan and budget, c. assigning tasks, d. monitoring performance of work effort, timelines and taking corrective action when needed, e. maintaining project plan using Microsoft Project f. handling project communication, g. Closing the project. 2. Oversee and coordinate analysis of business processing impact and transition plans for business users. As required and needed, analyze and document prospective business process methods and techniques. 3. Coordinate with management and technical personnel to analyze and recommend the best solutions for implementation of the project. 4. Communicate within all levels of the agency the project plan and progress. 5. Responsible for the workload and management of Team Members in conjunction with Bureau of Information Technology Management. 6. The position will be utilized for 40 hours per week for the duration of this project. The selected candidate should be able to work flexible hours where it may be necessary for work to be completed outside traditional business hours. 7. The candidate will work closely with the Bureau of Information Technology, Enterprise Application Division to identify, prioritize, and schedule workload and implementation to IT standards and procedures. The position will work with program area team members to ensure that all business requirements are met to support the MDM system. 8. The position promotes agency initiatives and adheres to Information Technology application development standards to support business operations. This will also include implementation of new security policy/procedures as well as integrating systems when possible to streamline staff workflows, user security, and data correction. Required Skills: 1. Experience with project management of large enterprise level projects with proven implementation success. 2. Pmi, pmp certs 3. Requirements gathering 4. Ability to develop, communicate and present project documentation and reports 5. Software development life cycle (sdlc) methodologies 6. Experience in agile/scrum 7. Knowledge of information technology field, best practices, organization and operations 8. Expert with microsoft project 2013 Desired Skills: 1. Ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff, customers and others involved in data-centric management. 2. Experience with microsoft visio 3.
